The first episode of the new documentary series airs tomorrow Wednesday September 14th at 21:30 on TV3.
Ireland’s most notorious missing persons cases will be examined by a team of specialists, beginning with the case of Trevor Deely.
Throughout the series these specialists collaborate with the original investigating team to re-examine the evidence, with the hope of uncovering new information and providing closure to the victim’s family and friends.
Trevor Deely was twenty-two when he vanished from the streets of Dublin in the early hours of December 8th, 2000. His disappearance was the subject of a high-profile search and publicity campaign, but no trace of him was ever found.
After his work Christmas party, Trevor went back to his office, in the Bank of Ireland, to collect a golf umbrella. It was a wet and wild night and there was a taxi strike in Dublin. He started his walk home around 3.45am, called his best friend and left a message on his phone. Shortly after, he was recorded on CCTV. That was the last time he was sighted.
