Ashford studios have welcomed back the cast and crew of ‘Vikings’, with fresh and familiar faces on board for the latest installment of the hit show from History.

New talent includes Irish actor Darren Cahill best known for drama ‘Red Rock’ and Jonathan Rhys Meyers of ‘The Tudors’.

Recurring cast and crew members include IFTA-winners Moe Dunford and Joan Bergin.

Producer Morgan O’Sullivan said: “We are delighted to be back for a fifth season. The numbers this year, particularly in America, have gone very well for us and it has resulted in us being given a 20 hour order for this season. It’s now the show to watch on a Thursday night on television and long may it continue!”
