With the news in the last two weeks of two major departures from RTÉ (MD of RTÉ Television Glen Killane is the new MD of eirSport, and RTE2 Channel Controller Bill Malone is moving to the top spot in TV3), RTÉ has confirmed that Dermot Horan, Director of Production & Acquisitions, RTÉ Television has been appointed to the position of Interim Managing Director RTÉ Television.

Adrian Lynch has been appointed to the position of Interim Channel Controller RTÉ2, which he will take on in addition to his role of Channel Controller RTÉ One.
