Beau St Clair, the long-time producing partner of Irish actor and producer Pierce Brosnan, has passed away at 63 following a long battle with ovarian cancer.
St Clair founded Irish Dreamtime in 1996 with Brosnan and they went on to produce films such as The Thomas Crown Affair (1999), The Nephew (1998), Evelyn (2002), Laws Of Attraction (2004), The Matador (2005), Shattered (2007), The Greatest (2009) and 2014’s Some Kind Of Beautiful and The November Man – most of which starred Brosnan in the lead role.
In a statement released shortly after her passing, Brosnan said: “Beau was the sister I never had, my dearest friend for 30 years, and my producing partner at Irish Dreamtime, a company we formed twenty years ago.”
“Beau Marie was a beautiful woman in every way. She had style, grace, humor, intellect, and a kind heart that I will forever miss.”
St Clair also produced Irish director John Moore’s thriller ‘I.T’ which shot in Ireland in the summer of 2015. The film stars Brosnan in the lead role and is currently in post-production.
St Clair’s husband Lloyd Philips – who was also a producer – passed away in 2013 following a heart attack. She is survived by her mother and two brothers.
