‘Penny Dreadful’ wins three awards at BAFTA TV Craft Awards

‘Penny Dreadful’s three awards is the most won by any show on the night
‘Penny Dreadful’ won three awards at the BAFTA Craft Awards, making it the big winner on the night.

‘Penny Dreadful’ – which wrapped shooting on its’ second season last month – was shot entirely in Wicklow and Dublin, primarily at Ardmore Studios and is co-produced by Octagon Films.

The acclaimed Sky Atlantic show won in the categories of Make Up and Hair Design, Original Music and Production Design – with Irish production designer Philip Murphy picking up the latter award, along with Jonathan McKinstry.

In other Irish news, there was also a win for editor Jake Martin (who has previously worked on '50 Ways To Kill Your Mammy' and 'The Big Silence') for his work on the documentary 'Grayson Perry: Who Are You?'.

The second season of ‘Penny Dreadful’ is due to commence on Sky Atlantic on May 3.
