Philip Seymour Hoffman in ‘A Most Wanted Man’
The late Philip Seymour Hoffman is a ruthless German spy devoted to nothing but national security in a new trailer for ‘A Most Wanted Man’.

The spy thriller, based on the novel by John le Carre, also stars Rachel McAdams as a lawyer and Grigoriy Dobrygin as a half- Chechen, half Russian terror suspect who arrives in Hamburg's Islamic community looking to recover his late Russian father's ill-gotten fortune. Anton Corbijn (The American) will direct the Andrew Bovell written screenplay. Hoffman will play Gunter Bachmann alongside co-stars Robin Wright and Willem Dafoe. Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions’ ‘A Most Wanted Man’ premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January and will be released in Irish cinemas this summer.

’Noble’ Wins Audience Award at Dallas International Film Festival
Writer/Director Stephen Bradley’s feature film ‘Noble’, about the extraordinary life and work of Irish woman Christina Noble, has won the Audience Award at Dallas International Film Festival. This award follows Jury Prizes in Santa Barbara and Boston earlier in the year.

The film was produced by Melanie Gore-Grimes and stars Deirdre O’Kane (Moone Boy), Sarah Greene (The Guard) and new-comer Gloria Cramer Curtis, as well as featuring Brendan Coyle (Downton Abbey), Liam Cunningham (Game of Thrones), Ruth Negga (World War Z) and Eva Birthistle (Amber). The UK/Irish production was executive produced by Michael J. Hunt, shot on widescreen 35mm and filmed in Vietnam, Liverpool and Cumbria. Nick Laws (production manager on ‘War Horse’, ‘Blood Diamond’, ‘Constant Gardener’) served as line producer along with director of photography Trevor Forrest, editor Mags Arnold, costume designer Charlotte Walter and composers Giles Martin and Ben Foster.

‘Noble’ is also set to screen at Nashville and Newport Beach Festivals in the US, with distributor screenings also set for New York, Los Angeles, London and Cannes later this month.

David Fincher Debuts ‘Gone Girl’ Trailer
20th Century Fox has unveiled the first trailer for David Fincher's ‘Gone Girl’, which stars Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike as Nick and Amy Dunne, a married couple whose marriage is rocked when Amy disappears without a trace on their fifth wedding anniversary.

The movie is an adaptation of Gillian Flynn's best-selling novel of the same name. Flynn also wrote the movie script which features a reworked ending. Fincher’s last movie adaption was from the bestselling novel was ‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’. Tyler Perry and Neil Patrick Harris also co-star in the movie which features a revamped version of Charles Aznavour's ‘She’ in the trailer, a song last made famous by Elvis Costello in the romantic comedy ‘Notting Hill’. Other cast members include Kim Dickens, Patrick Fugit, Missi Pyle, Carrie Coon, Boyd Holbrook, Emily Ratajkowski, David Clennon, and producers Leslie Dixon, Bruna Papandrea and Reese Witherspoon.

‘Gone Girl’ will be released in cinemas on October 3 and the trailer can be viewed below:
