Amy Huberman and 'the Voice of Ireland' coach Niall Breslin (Bressie) have joined the cast of Chris O’Dowd’s ‘Moone Boy’.
Huberman has been cast as an art teacher in the second series of the Sky One show, while Breslin – who is making his acting debut – will play a gym teacher.
Both are currently shooting scenes in Wicklow town with shooting on the second series of the Grand Pictures co-production set to wrap next Friday (October 12).
Huberman previously worked with O’Dowd on RTÉ series ‘The Clinic’ while O’Dowd and Breslin were both students at UCD.
Meanwhile, series co-creators Nick Vincent Murphy and Chris O’Dowd are currently working on additional scripts for the show with producers hopeful of getting the go-ahead from Sky to produce a third series early next year.
Season two of O’Dowd’s semi-autobiographical comedy series is being directed by Ian Fitzgibbon (Death Of A Superhero) and will see the cast of the first season reprise their roles for season two
Once again scenes were filmed in Boyle, Co Roscommon and at Ardmore Studios in Wicklow.
‘Moone Boy’ is a co-production involving Ireland’s Grand Pictures, Britain’s Baby Cow Productions and Sky.
