Academy Award nominated Irish writer/director Kristen Sheridan’s (August Rush, Disco Pigs) latest movie ‘Dollhouse’ has been named as one of the ten newly selected features for the Panorama ‘Special’ section of the International Berlin Film Festival.
‘Dollhouse’, a Dublin set drama, tells the story of a night in the life
of six street kids who break into a house in Dalkey and stars fresh Irish talent including Seana Kerslake (Life's a Breeze), Johnny Ward (This Must Be The Place, Two Hearts), Jack Reynor (What Richard Did, Three Wise Men), Kate Stanley Brennan (Raw, Fair City), Shane Curry (Kisses) and Ciaran McCabe (What Richard Did).
The film will join over 50 other films to be screened in the Panorama programme, which includes a main section, a Panorama special and Panorama documentary section. The ten opening works announced in the ‘Special’ category will be screening at the Kino International.
The International Berlin Film Festival takes place for ten days from the 9th-19th of February.
