Silk Road International Film Festival
Silk Road International Film Festival (SRIFF) is giving an opportunity to Irish filmmakers to submit an Irish film to screen as part of the The Belt and Road Film Week at Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF), which has been tentatively postponed to the second half of August from mid June 2020.

Silk Road International Film Festival became a partner of The “Belt and Road Film Festival Alliance” (BRFFA) in 2018, which was established at the 21st Shanghai International Film Festival now consisting of 38 film festivals & Institutions from 33 countries.

BRFFA facilitates the bilateral panorama of films; encourages the mutual recommendation of film festival judges and event guests; strengthens the exchanges and cooperation in film production and distribution; and establishes and implements the film information sharing mechanism among contracted parties. Under the “Belt and Road Film Festival Alliance” BRFFA an Irish feature will have an opportunity to screen as part of the Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF).

The BRFFA is a platform to show films, to communicate & to create opportunities for further cooperation among our film industries and other related fields. The next edition of the festival will take place: 9-13 February 2021.

If you wish to submit a film for consideration, please email: info@silkroadfilmfestival.com
