‘No Stone Unturned’ Debuts at New York Film Festival
02 Oct 2017 : Nathan Griffin
Alex Gibney
Alex Gibney’s documentary about the 1994 Loughlinisland Massacre in Northern Ireland, premiered in New York on Saturday, September 30th.

The documentary investigates the infamous murder of six Catholics in a small town in Northern Ireland, which was never solved. The film is a step away from Gibney’s previous productions, which have tackled large scale issues such as Scientology, Enron and Wikileaks.

Alex Gibney reopens the mysterious unsolved case of the 1994 Loughinisland massacre, which saw six men brutally murdered and a few others wounded in a pub while watching Ireland play in the World Cup. Despite a long investigation by the police and many confusing leads, no perpetrators of the attack were ever found.

The film is a co-production between Fine Point Films, Jigsaw Productions, and Kew Media Group. The film was written and directed by Alex Gibney, Produced by Trevor Birney and Exec Produced by Maiken Baird, Greg Phillips, Jonathan Ford, Richard Perello, and Brendan J. Byrne. The DOPs are Stan Harlow and Ross McDonnell, Editor is Andy Grieve and Composers are Ivor Guest and Robert Logan.
