'The Cured' Secures 2018 Release in US with IFC Films

The Cured
IFC Films has picked up the North American distribution rights to ‘The Cured’ at TIFF, and will release the film theatrically in spring 2018.

The film, which premiered at Toronto, is David Freyne’s feature directorial debut, and is set in a future where cured zombies are reintegrated into society. The film is produced by Rory Dungan and Rachael O’Kane for Tilted Pictures.

Rory Dungan told IFTN, ”We had an incredible time premiering The Cured at TIFF and were overwhelmed by both the audience and critical reaction.

‘The Cured’ stars Ellen Page, Sam Keeley, Tom Vaughan Lawlor, Paula Malcomson and Stuart Graham. 

IFC picked up the rights at TIFF where the film received great reviews across all of the trades. Rory Dungan, “It's given the film the best possible start and led to an incredible distribution deal with IFC Films in North America. Their passion for The Cured is wonderful and we can't wait to work with them on releasing the film."
