‘The Farthest’ is edited by Tony Cranstoun with John Murray (Here Was Cuba) and Clare Stronge (Spider House) as producers.

The final feature length project is ‘Elián’, also a documentary project, from Tim Golden and Ross McDonnell. It investigates the story of Cuban boy named Elián González who was found floating through the Florida Straits on Thanksgiving Day, 1999. It is produced by Alex Gibney.

Irish shorts set to screen are the recent winner of the IFTA for Best Animation ‘Second to None’ (Vincent Gallagher), ‘11th Hour’ from Jim Sheridan and ‘Wave’ directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Ben Cleary (Stutterer) and TJ O’Grady-Peyton.
