The tenth instalment annual festival in Dingle, Co. Kerry running from Thursday March 23rd to Sunday March 26th will close with Jim Sheridan’s IFTA-nominated ‘The Secret Scripture,’ starring Jack Reynor (Sing Street) and Rooney Mara (Carol).

The festival highlights includes its opening film on Thursday March 23rd, which is Ben Wheatley’s ‘Free Fire’, starring Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders), Brie Larson (Room), Jack Reynor and more.
Other screenings throughout the four-day festival include the Irish premiere of ‘Bakerman’ (David Noel Bourke), ‘We Are Moving - Memories of Miss Doherty’ (Claire Dix), animation ‘Ethel & Ernest’ (Roger Mainwood), ‘Twice Shy’ (Tom Ryan), ‘The Randomer’ (Caoimhe Clancy, Iseult Imbert, Naji Bechara) and ‘Making It’ (Eamonn Norris).

The screening of the exceptional short film An Mhallacht, the winner of our 2016 Físín competition for scriptwriting in the Irish language.
One of the most promising young Irish actors in the international film and television industry, Art Parkinson (GAME OF THRONES, KUBO AND THE TWO STRINGS, SAN ANDREAS), will present the Físín award for this year’s competition.
The Festival Awards for ‘Best Feature’ and ‘Best Short’ will also be announced.
