The 17th Cork French Film Festival will open in the Triskel on Thursday, 2 March, with the eight time César-winning film 'De Battre Mon Coeur s'est Arrêté' ('The Beat That My Heart Skipped').
Running from the 2nd to the 11th of March. There is a special screening of Bertrand Tavernier’s ‘Holy Lola’ on the 9th, followed by a Q&A with the famed French director. Additional highlights include screenings of 2005 Oscar nominee ‘The Chorus’, Denys Arcand’s ‘The Barbarian Invasions’ (2003), Ismaël Ferroukhi’s BAFTA nominated ‘Le Grand Voyage’ and Mathieu Kassovitz’s 1995 classic ‘La Haine’.
