US Rights to ‘Pilgrimage’ from Irish Director Brendan Muldowney acquired by RLJ Entertainment

The project which filmed in Co. Mayo and Co. Galway, in addition to the Ardennes in Belgium is set in 13th century Ireland.

The rights have been bought in a seven figure deal between XYZ Films, WME Global and RLJ Entertainment, and was brokered by Nate Bolotin.

Muldowney has directed a screenplay from Jamie Hannigan, with Conor Barry and John Keville of Savage Productions producing and XYZ as Executive Producers. It stars ‘The Lost City of Z’ actor Tom Holland alongside Jon Bernthal (The Punisher) and Richard Armitage (Brain on Fire).

‘Pilgrimage’ was financed by Irish Film Board, the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, Wallimage, Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles and BNP Paribas Fortis Film Finance.
