‘We Have Always Lived in the Castle’ continues filming in Co. Wicklow

Irish actor PEter O'Meara
The adaptation of Shirley Jackson’s 1962 novel of the same name is currently in production in Ireland.

Irish actor Peter O’Meara is set to join co-stars Taissa Farmiga (American Horror Story) and Sebastian Stan (Captain America) on set in Bray and Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow.

‘We Have Always Lived in the Castle’ centres on the isolated Blackwoods, who have already lost four members to poisoning. The family uses rituals and talismans to keep itself away from hostile townspeople.

The feature is being directed by Stacie Passon and is produced by Further Down Films and Great Point Media.

Irish talent Peter Coonan, best known for his role as Fran in 'Love/Hate' was also pictured on set in Enniskerry earlier this month and is set to play the character of Bobby Dunham.

Additional talents include Crispin Glover (Charlie’s Angels, Alice in Wonderland) as wheelchair-bound Uncle Julian Blackwood and Alexandra Daddario (The Choice, San Andreas) as Constance Blackwood.
