Quays

Albert Quay / Kennedy Quay, Cork City

Right in the heart of the City, these quays and docks still operate at the East end (Kennedy Quay), and the sight of large ships moored almost right next to City hall is visually surprising and reminds one of what made Cork so important for many years.
This is a fantastic location for police/detective chase sequences & shoot outs, with huge old deserted warehouses and hulking machinery with the City Centre as an immediate backdrop or reference. The deepwater port allows for sizeable ships to be docked for filming arrival, departure or shipping scenes
