Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland is seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to promote the skills activities of Screen Ireland.

Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Screen Ireland is seeking to recruit a Marketing and Communications Coordinator who will be part of the Marketing Department and report directly to the Marketing and Communications Manager. 

The role will support the marketing of the skills function in Screen Ireland and will work closely with the Skills Development Manager and the skills team.

  • Preparation of annual marketing and communication calendar and assets for Screen Ireland skills related activities;
  • The promotion of skills development initiatives to the wider industry related press releases, industry notices and dealing with press queries;
  • Creating ideas to increase traffic across all of the Screen Ireland communications platforms and communicating with the industry, key stakeholders and wider public regarding the skills and related activities of Screen Ireland
  • Driving the Screen Ireland social media presence across all social media channels;
  • Preparation of innovative skills related marketing materials, together with content for Screen Ireland website and social channels
  • Management of the back-end of the skills section of the Screen Ireland website and the applications and booking system for courses and funding schemes;
  • Supporting the build of a new Careers in Screen website and link with the National Talent Academies from a comms perspective
  • Monitoring and reporting on website performance using analytics and also reporting data from the applications and bookings system;

Key Skills/Competencies

  • Excellent computer package proficiency including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Survey Monkey and social media platforms;
  • Abobe photoshop skills a major advantage
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and be obsessive about accuracy across all marketing materials and communications;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a fast-paced organisation who can contribute to a dynamic and innovative working environment;
  • Must have a strong client focus;
  • Must be able to work to challenging deadlines and work on own initiative;
  • Must love communicating and engaging with audiences;
  • Must be an ideas person – suggesting and driving new ways and means of communicating and influencing;

Particulars of the Position

  • This position is at Executive Officer level and is remunerated on the scale starting at €31,384.
  • Access to the Screen Ireland Single Pension Scheme for the duration of the contract.
  • The term is a 4-year fixed term position.
  • It is full-time and exclusive to Screen Ireland and successful candidate will be required to sign the Screen Ireland Code of Conduct.
  • The role will have a 9-month probation period.
  • Annual leave (ex-bank holidays) of 23 days
