VFX Producer

Egg VFX are looking for an experienced VFX Producer to join our team on upcoming high-profile projects.

Requirements:

• This position is only open to European & UK passport holders or those with a valid working permit allowing them to work in Ireland. It is also required that you will be resident in Ireland, and able to work from the Dublin office managing our projects and team.
• 5+ yrs experience as VFX Producer or VFX Line Producer on Episodic or Feature productions is essential, with proven experience on projects in an established VFX facility
• Excellent knowledge of ShotGrid - from input to delivery.
• An understanding of the VFX pipeline, processes and terminologies.
• Excellent organisation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description:

• Establish a show schedule and work closely with the Coordinators in order to maintain a strong overall schedule.
• Correspond with clients regarding reviews, schedule, and needs.
• Work closely with supervisors and leads in crewing, casting and scheduling multiple tasks, keeping in mind the overall show schedule, client reviews, bids, and other discipline needs.
• Establish a process for communicating discipline targets, assignments, and priorities to discipline or sequence crews, as well as the overall show crew.
• Ensure work is on schedule for each department and is meeting internal and external (client) deadlines, whilst tracking clients’ needs, reviews and deliveries to make sure all disciplines hit their targets.
• Maintaining accurate summary of work in progress, tracking actual days on projects and ensuring that financial commitments are in check.
• Prioritisation and escalation of technical support issues.
• Be client-facing and be the official point of contact for clients as well as developing new business.
• Handles all bids and completes preliminary estimate.
• Controls all turnover & delivery with clients.
• Maintains oversight on department finances reporting to the CFO on a weekly basis.
• Manage all aspects of our VFX department.

This position is a full-time position and based in our Dublin City centre studios.
