Works directly with: Festival Director, Festival Administrator, Publicist, Marketing team.
Flexible mix of working in Dublin office and working remotely
Duration: 22nd November 2021- March 11th, 2021
Salary: €9,750
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the festival’s production requirements for all events taking place including launch, galas, parties and screenings as well as pre-production equipment elements.
- Work with Managing Director to ensure all events are fully compliant with Health & Safety Legislation
- Manage the production budget as agreed with the Managing Director and ensure that production costs remain within the agreed budget.
- Work closely with the Festival Director and Programme Co-ordinator at venue programming time, to ensure adequate spread of resources with regard to equipment and facilities.
- Work with Marketing Manager to deliver the festival’s launch and festival related gala parties (e.g. opening and closing events)
- Delivery of daily schedules and call-sheets, event management plans and risk assessments through our Health & Safety software.
- Work closely with the Hospitality Manager to ensure the guest itineraries are in tandem with the call sheets.
- Communicate all access issues and strobe lighting effects to Box Office Team to ensure safety for customers
- Work with host venue/cinema management to ensure that DIFF Duty Managers are fully up to speed in their venues with all areas of production and health & safety.
- Inform the relevant management if there are any issues in any of the venues which may have knock-on for box office, marketing etc.
- Source festival awards and organise awards ceremonies
- Liaise with suppliers in advance of festival to procure all necessary technical equipment to ensure the best quality in screenings.
- Liaising with venue partners to ensure that the venue can deliver a high standard event and to maximise the cohesive spirit between festival staff, volunteers and full-time venue staff.
