About the role:
- Coordinate the daily logistics of the studio operations and technical teams in conjunction with managers
- Support operations in production planning and making sure the business is adequately resourced.
- Manage rosters for operational staff within Studio Operations and Technology divisions including holiday and absence.
- Undertake the accurate reporting of staff expenses, toil, overtime sign off, holiday approvals, sickness reporting
- To manage and maintain an adequate pool of freelance contractors in conjunction with team managers
- Check operations related invoices raised for completeness and accuracy
- Admin and Operational support on events
- Participate in the Studio Operations management meeting
- Track freelance capability in relation to future requirements
- Actively seek to improve employee and team engagement
- The above list is not exhaustive. You will be expected to perform duties as necessitated by your changing role and the overall business objectives of the Company, as directed.
About the person:
- Have at least 3 years’ experience in broadcasting
- Knowledge of television production processes
- Good disposition to keep calm
- Unrelenting attention to detail and quality
- Have excellent organisational skills
- Good time management
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to collaborate with producers and other support staff
- Be familiar with operating systems like ScheduALL, Workday or equivalent
- An understanding of Health and Safety in a technical operational environment
The role involves shift work with early, late hours and weekend work.
