Reporting to: Operations Senior Manager & Programme Compliance Supervisor
Duration: Full-time, Permanent
Liaison with: Programming, Transmission
Main tasks of Job:
- Turning live programmes around for quick turnaround repeats e.g Ireland Am
- Preps all non-live programmes from a weekly schedule.
- Flags any audio/visual glitch that cannot be edited around
- Preps and sends prerecords e.g Xpose
- To evaluate acquired programme content with due regard to Virgin Media Television Group
- Taste and Decency guidelines.,
- Sending information to media house e.g Deluxe for times to support live subtitle files.
- Other additional duties as necessitated by the Company
Essential
- The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate knowledge of Avid based editing
- systems.
- Have at least 1 years’ experience.
- Working on your own initiative.
- Have good editorial judgement.
- The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to working a shift pattern.
