- Support, maintain and debug core pipeline tools and workflows to ensure stability and usability.
- Create new documentation and maintain our existing repository explaining our processes and tools.
- Work with software developers and the rest of our IT team to deploy, test and debug new hardware and software.
Ideal Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in animation or visual effects for film or television with a solid understanding of the VFX pipeline.
- Experience supporting a render farm dispatch software tool (Thinkbox's Deadline)
- Experience in developing tools and extending functionality/usability for common DCC packages such as Maya, Houdini, Mari or Nuke.
- Strong experience in python.
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Software development experience with Visual Studio Code, and with source control systems like GitLab
- Multi-platform support and development experience. Linux (CentOS), Windows and OSX.
