Job Description

The HR Manager is an operational hands-on role supporting the provision of HR services across both Dublin and Manchester studios. The HR Manager will manage the HR Administrator and HR Generalist in both locations and act as the first point of contact for line managers needing HR support

Key Responsibilities

  • Line management, coaching and development of HR Administrator in Dublin and dotted line reporting of HR Generalist in Manchester
  • Support line managers with any employee relations issues and performance management issues
  • Create, maintain, implement & communicate relevant HR policies and procedures for UK and Ireland
  • Overall responsibility of HR Administration function including all employment contracts and records, work permits and visas, employee letters
  • Work closely with L&D and Recruitment on cross-HR projects and initiatives including new hires, induction and on-boarding
  • Manage all maternity and family related leave issues. Work closely with facilities on appropriate health & safety assessments
  • Manage the implementation and adoption of the new Sage based HRIS across both studios
  • Manage HR projects such as Great Place To Work survey
  • Act as support for HRD during absences
  • Manage all payroll changes and work with Finance team to ensure payments processed appropriately

Skills required:

  • Experienced at using Microsoft Office and/or use of Googlesuite of office products

Knowledge/experience required:

  • 3+ years HR experience working at Generalist or Business Partner level
  • Irish employment law knowledge essential, UK employment law knowledge desirable
  • Experienced across all aspects of HR (e.g. Admin/recruitment/ER/Induction) would be a distinct advantage
