Job Description
The Production Assistant manages all the daily administration related to a Production. They work closely with the Production Management team to ensure deadlines and schedules are managed tightly
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Production Team, in particular with the Production Manager and Coordi-nator to ensure an efficient and fast flow of information across the departments
- Conform Storyboards for animation shipment
- Maintain tracking documents and keep asset database up to date with all necessary information
- Take accurate notes of production meetings and conference calls
- Responsible for preparing Model sheets and updating the asset database with the most current design and information
- Prepare handout packages for various freelancers, ensure notes and asset information is accurate
- Follow through on assignments and take on work from the production team
Key Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous Production experience, ideally in an animation environment
- A high level of fluency in written and spoken English
- Experience in database work and maintaining tracking documents
- A good understanding of schedules and deadlines
- Be a clear and fast communicator of Production information
- Be comfortable in working to tight deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particularly Excel as well as the Google suite of equivalent office programmes
- A strong knowledge of FTP software would be desirable
- A good knowledge of Photoshop and Acrobat
