TV3 require a Group Financial Controller

 Main Purpose of Job

This key role will have input into all aspects of financial and management reporting for the group which requires the production of timely, accurate and reliable information.

Working Relationships

Responsible to: Finance Director

Liaison with: All Departments

Main tasks of Job

• Lead and assist in production of Monthly Management Accounts to specific deadlines
• Lead and assist with the preparation of the company's budget and forecasting
• Lead and assist in meeting Group reporting and ad hoc group information requests
• Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of regular cash flow projections and manage group treasury requirements
• Regular review of debtors ledger and provide support for accounts receivable
• Prepare and improve monthly KPIs
• Lead and assist in preparation and co-ordination of year end files and liaise with auditors to conclusion of statutory audit process
• Review and approve supplier and payroll payments
• Regular liaison with the Commercial Department to include review of revenue recognition, completion of monthly revenue reconciliation and reporting
• Lead and assist in the on-going development of processes and financial controls
• Ad hoc projects and reports as requested by the Finance Director and other members of the Senior Management Team
• Manage experienced Finance department staff
• Provide support to the Finance Director

Required Skills

• A high calibre, motivated qualified Accountant with a minimum of 4-5 years’ PQE
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to liaise with senior management, finance and operational teams
• Must be a team player, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with others
• Strong Commercial acumen, instinctively analytical, with a high attention to detail
• Excellent analytical skills and problem solving ability
• Sound practical knowledge of corporate income tax /indirect taxes
• Excellent PC skills to include an excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• Energetic and hard working
• Track record of meeting challenging deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management
