Egg requires a Digital Media Manager

Working in our data preparation and mastering area, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overseeing of all day to day operations such as transcoding and dailies service as well as our mastering and final deliveries. This position is a great opportunity to take a leadership role in our existing team in our busy facility.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualities

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Familiar with file based workflows and broadcaster specifications for Feature Films, TV Drama and Documentary
• An understanding of all current broadcast formats/ Transcode and Digital Delivery Practices/ QC Hardware & Software knowledge
• Computer literacy in both MAC and PC platforms is essential
• Operational knowledge of AVID, FCP, Premier Pro, Resolve, and various transcoding software

The candidate should have good communication and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, an ability to work well within a team and under time pressure as well as being able to deal directly with clients and editors when necessary. A key part of the role will be the development and implementation of existing and new digital workflows. VT Skills preferable but not essential.
