Screen Scene Post Production requires a Head of Housekeeping and Hospitality
Job Description
The Head of Housekeeping and Hospitality oversees the general day to day operations of the post production facility.
He/she coordinates and supervises departmental tasks, such as housekeeping, front office, food and beverage, edit suite room service and maintenance among others related to the routine dealings of the property.
The position requires someone with the ability to manage in a diverse fast paced environment with focus on client services and hospitality.
This is a hands-on management position and the candidate must be willing to go above and beyond to maintain a high standard.
Qualities
- Strong organizational and time management skills, combined with a high level of initiative.
- Strong leadership and motivating skills including the ability to build strong relationships with clients and staff.
- Knowledge of food and food hygiene.
- Experience within the services industry.
- Energy, stamina and the ability to work under pressure.
- A minimum of 12 months experience in the Media or Hospitality business is required.
Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for all client’s needs while at Screen Scene.
- Dealings with contractors and suppliers.
- Responsible for sourcing and ordering from 3rd party suppliers relating to H&H.
- Responsible for the recruiting, training and monitoring of Runners.
- Responsible for the catering service offered at Screen Scene.
- Responsible for maintenance, supplies, renovations and furnishings.
- Responsible for security.
- Planning work schedules for individuals.
- Advise on ongoing costs and suggested capital expenditure.
- Control of H&H budget.
