TV3 requires a Schedule Planner
Main Purpose of Job: To build & maintain TV3 group planning schedules.
Responsible to: Head of Scheduling
Liaison with: Content, Compliance, Transmission, Sales, Traffic, Sponsorship, Transmission, News
Main tasks of Job
- To create and build the TV3 group planning schedules in the Vision planning system
- To update the TV3 group planning schedules with programme changes
- To prepare the planning schedules for weekly listings and programming meetings
- To finalise Final Exchange listings with Publicity and send late schedule changes
- To assist the Head of Scheduling in the creation of a forward planning schedule which maximises audience and commercial share
- To manage monthly amortisation budgets
- To manage TV3 group programming stock and programme write off
- To create the weekly presentation schedules in liaison with Traffic
- To build & prepare the weekly presentation schedules for the Presentation Schedulers
- To provide cover for TV3 group presentation schedulers and planners when required
The above list is not exhaustive. You will be expected to perform duties as necessitated by your changing role and the overall business objectives of the Company, as directed.

- Excellent communications skills
- Strong organisational and numerical skills
- Excellent time management skills
- A keen attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and multi task in a constantly changing television environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work as part of a team
- A keen interest in broadcasting and television programming
- At least two years experience in a comparable role
