The Irish Film Board requires an Inward Production Assistant (4 year fixed-term)
Department: Inward Production / Film Commission
Reporting to: Inward Production Manager
Role
Reporting directly to the Inward Production Manager this role will be to support the Inward Production Manager whose role is to attract mobile film and television production in to Ireland. The role will assist in project monitoring, project queries, locations recces and the preparation of marketing materials for producers / studio executives. The role will also assist the Inward Production Manager in the key priorities of enhancing film production in the regions and the Film Dublin Partnership.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide high quality and efficient administrative service to the IFB Inward Production Manager,
- To help prepare high quality brochures and other marketing materials,
- To assist the IFB Inward Production Manager Unit with day-to day administration, coordination of recces, co-ordination of key meetings,
- To assist tracking projects which are considering Ireland as a location,
- To support effective work flows and processes and to provide key support in undertaking strategic initiatives.
- Providing support for research as required.
Key Skills/Competencies
- Excellent computer package proficiency including Word and Excel and photo editing software,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a fast-paced team who can contribute to a dynamic and innovative working environment,
- Must have a strong client focus,
- Must be able to work to challenging deadlines and work on own initiative,
- A knowledge of geographical Ireland and key locations,
- A desire to work the Film and TV sector is essential.
Salary Scale
This position will be offered at Clerical Officer Grade. Salary scale will be €22,879 rising incrementally. Annual leave is 20 days and all these posts will be part of the Irish Film Board Superannuation Scheme. There will also be a probationary period of 9 months.
