Broadcast Engineer/Manager with Get Broadcasting
Get Broadcasting is a leading supplier of video & live streaming services to the pharmaceutical, insurance & tech industries. As our business grows, we are looking to expand our live streaming team. We are currently accepting applications for the role of broadcast engineer/manager.
The right candidate will have a real passion for live stream technology & a drive & enthusiasm to ensure that Get Broadcasting continues to supply our clients with top quality live streams using the latest & best tech. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in live streaming & will 'geek out' whilst discussing all things live stream, from the latest Quicklink product to the newest mobile satellite internet gadget.
A comfortable familiarity with cameras, lighting, audio & editing will prove invaluable in excelling at this role.
Whilst initial contact & management of projects will be driven by our production team, the candidate will require excellent people management skills to be on display during consultations, live streams & rehearsals with our clients.
The role is based in Dublin, but events can take the live stream team anywhere on the island of Ireland & beyond. A full, clean driving licence is a must-have!
The skill-set required for this role should include most or all of the following:
- Knowledge of Tricaster, Livestream, vMix, Atem & similar live streaming equipment.
- Experience using NDI technology for networking devices, cameras, laptops & remote contributors.
- An in-depth knowledge of Zoom, Teams & other similar conferencing software.
- Comfortable with networking & IT set-up & management for live streams.
- Vison-mixing & directorial experience with multi-camera set-ups.
- Comfortable with set-up & use of a variety of standard & hot-head cameras.
- Experience in set-up & use of audio equipment for conferences & studio broadcasts.
- Comfortable with the set-up & use of lighting equipment for standard & green screen studio settings.
- Knowledge of editing & editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro) & a familiarity with video formats.
- A clean driving licence.
- Good interpersonal skills for team & client management.
- Current work authorisation.
The initial contract will be for three months with a view to expand the role to a full-time, salaried position for the right person.
Salary Band: €40 to €50k, commensurate with experience.
