Windmill Lane Pictures is looking for a talented junior Motion Designer with skills in After Effects and Cinema 4D to join our creative team and work with our diverse range of clients on creative briefs across the media and entertainment sectors.

A passion for motion design and animation, a great eye for detail, a willingness to learn and a positive can-do attitude are essential if you’d like to become part of our story.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proficient in Adobe Suite with After Effects and Photoshop essential.
  • A working knowledge of Cinema 4D would be preferred.
  • Ideally we’d be looking for 2+ years of graphic, motion or design experience. An understanding of post production and associated technologies is an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates attention to detail, a good eye for composition and design with an emphasis on design for motion.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain focus and objectivity.
  • Knowledge and keen interest in aspects of creative coding, emerging technologies, realtime rendering, VR/AR, etc. is a plus.
  • An interest in Photography, film making, gaming, animation and other creative fields.

What you’ll be doing with us:

  • Be a supporting member of the creative team.
  • Help to create and source content, footage, graphics, typography, references, demo, proof of concept material, etc for style frames, pitches and presentations.
  • Constantly avail of learning, upskilling and shadowing opportunities.
  • Be an enthusiastic brand ambassador for Windmill through social media, awards, festivals and networking opportunities.
