Job Title Ireland AM Reporter
Responsible to: Executive Producer/Head of Daytime
Liaison with: All presenters, production team, commercial and technical teams
Main tasks of Job
- Reports live and in pre-recorded broadcast environments
- Consistently originates quality content for the show
- Establishes creative techniques to shoot/present VT packages
- Self-Produces and edits packages to a very high standard
- Uses and builds industry contacts to secure exclusive content
- Actively promotes the show via national press and social media
- Actively pushes daytime show boundaries and responsibly develops
- Head line grabbing content
ESSENTIAL
- Highly competent reporter with previous on air experience
- Sources, chases and edits high value relevant and entertaining content
- Passionately interested in breaking news, celebrity and lifestyle
- Proven track record in writing
- A brilliant contact book desirable
- Ability to work very flexible hours and cover dynamic breaking stories
- Highly active on social media and promotes show content through across all social media platforms.
- Up to Date Showreel
DESIRABLE
- Media degree
- Relevant industry experience
