The Production People requires an Office Administrator 

Would you like an exciting opportunity to join a growing team in a very niche company that specialises in crewing and staff solutions for the Broadcasting, Media, A/V and Event Industries.  The Production People is an Award Winning Recruitment Company located in our penthouse suite overlooking Merrion Square North in Dublin City Centre.  We have built our solid reliable reputation on the quality of our customer service and the calibre of our candidates.  We pride ourselves on our knowledge of the industry and finding the right people for the right jobs and we are now looking to hire a talented, focused, driven individual to join our expanding team on a fulltime basis.    

Here's a bit about what the job is:

  • You’ll be the first point of contact for both clients and candidates 
  • Respond to daily telephone and email correspondence and deal with queries 
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with clients and candidates alike
  • Have an interest in, and be aware of, how crucial attention to detail is, whether it be taking a booking from a new client, crewing up events or sending out contracts to our new starters
  • Maintain all aspects of the database ensuring information is correctly input for proper search and retrieval
  • Set up internal interviews for candidates wishing to register with us 
  • Acquire detailed role descriptions and contact details from clients 
  • Co-ordinate incoming and ongoing job requests with candidates already registered with us
  • Place individuals into suitable job positions and make last minute replacements when necessary
  • Provide administration support in terms of maintaining diaries, filing, assisting with timesheets and payroll  
  • Promote the company through social media and marketing initiatives
  • Create and update content on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ etc. and also company website
  • Carry out other relevant role-related duties as they become evident, which is not exhaustible to this list

  • A wide knowledge of the Broadcast / Media / Events Industry
  • Good computer and technology skills

  • A passion for social media and brand awareness 
  • Most of all, patience, a strong work ethic, professionalism and diplomacy at all times

Salary and Work Environment:
This role requires someone who is always happy to go above and beyond the call of duty in everything they do.  A real people-person who enjoys everything from working on reception to ensuring the working environment is ready for everyone to enjoy. It can be a pressurised environment where customer service is paramount.  Hours are 10am-6pm Monday to Friday but flexibility is required.  Salary is based on the combined level of experience and skills that will lend itself to enhancing and enriching our business environment.
