El Zorrero Films requires an Office Manager / Researcher

EZ Films is now recruiting for the position of Office Manager / Researcher. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities with the purpose of supporting the production staff and ensuring the smooth operation of the production office, whilst also researching for upcoming television productions. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Office Management

• Responsible for the day-to-day running of a busy production office
• Providing support to Production Executive and staff as required
• Financial administration – issuing invoices, processing payments managing cash floats, providing information to bookkeeper and accountant
• Marketing – writing copy for press releases and newsletters, maintaining the company’s online presence through company website and social media
• Database management utilising MS Office Suite
• Facilities management – maintaining the health and safety of the office, solving IT issues, etc.

Researcher

• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about story telling and able to accurately assess the capacity of potential contributors

Requirements

• A pro-active self-starter capable of working flexibly and resourcefully in support of the team
• Applicants must have at least 2 years previous experience in TV production
• Fluent Irish is an advantage
• An ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Advanced problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A high level of IT literacy, proficiency in MS Office Word and Excel, experience of Adobe InDesign would be an advantage
