One Productions requires a Script Development Intern

One Productions is a busy production company operating in broadcast, film, corporate and web. We are currently seeking applicants for the position of script development intern.

The role will involve supporting writers, directors and producers in the development of projects. This will take place via:

• Contributing in a writing-room context in collaborative outlining and writing
• Writing-room note-taking, writing up of content ideas and meetings
• Research, story, idea and character cataloging
• Assisting writers, producers and directors
• Identifying and researching cast, locations
• Preparing funding application documents as required
• Assisting in story development courses run in the company

You will also be assisting in the development and launch of a new website and channel developed by One Productions. This channel will be involved in developing and producing stories from new and established Irish writers, directors and producers.

• Strong script writing & story development skills
• Have excellent organizational skills
• Good interpersonal, interactive and self-expression skills
• Excellent knowledge of the production process
• Good research skills
• An ability, or willingness, to deal directly with talent, locations and other collaborators
• Some experience of writing for web, blog or social media a plus
