EDUCATION:
Third level education desirable

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 3 years recent relevant management experience in a news resources role desirable

Must be able to demonstrate experience of:
• Managing operational procedures in a newsroom
• Preparing and managing budgets
• Developing and implementing operational workflows
• Meeting the needs of production
• Delivering high quality results

KNOWLEDGE:

• Proficient in Health and Safety regulations and assessment
• Understanding of technical skills required to support programming
• Sound knowledge of the television legal and regulatory environment
• Indepth knowledge of political, social and economic affairs relating to Ireland and Europe
