The trailer for Bridgerton season three part two, starring Nicola Coughlan, has been released by Netflix. The first four episodes of season three are now streaming, and part two, the final four episodes of the season, premieres on June 13th, 2024.
Netflix has released the trailer for part two of the third season of Bridgerton, along with new images. The first half of the season, which was released on May 16th, 2024, scored the largest debut in the series' history, garnering over 41M views in the first four days, and follows Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).
The synopsis for season three is as follows:
“Penelope Featherington (Coughlan) has given up on her crush on Colin Bridgerton (Newton) after hearing his harsh words last season. Now, she seeks a husband who will let her maintain her double life as Lady Whistledown. However, her lack of confidence leads to failed attempts in the marriage market.”
“Colin returns with a new look and swagger, only to find Penelope distant. To win back her friendship, Colin offers to mentor her in confidence, but soon questions if his feelings are purely platonic. Meanwhile, Penelope’s rift with Eloise (Claudia Jessie) and her growing social presence threatens to expose her secret identity.”
Coughlan (Derry Girls) and Newton (The Lodge), will attend two special Bridgerton screenings in Ireland this week, in advance of the second half of the third season launching on Netflix. The leads will attend a red carpet event at Dublin’s Light House Cinema on Thursday, June 6th, as well as a screening at Galway’s Pálás Cinema on Friday, June 7th.
