The second series of Mobs Mheiricea follows the story of the Irish Mob in America from the 1950’s to the present day. Some of them were mafia hitmen like Frank the Irishman’ Sheeran, the man who carried out one of the most famous hits of all time on Jimmy Hoffa. Others were earners like Jimmy ‘the Gent’ Burke who masterminded the biggest heist in US history – the Lufhansa Heist. Then there was the Westies Gang, the most feared gang in NewYork in the 70’s and 80’s run by Mickey Spillane and after his death the ruthless Jimmy Coonan. The story of the Irish Mob continues in Boston and follows the journey of Pat Nee from Rosmuc in Galway to the top of the Boston Mob and into his life as a gun runner for the IRA. The series concludes with the story of the last Irish Gangster of them all James ‘Whitey’ Bulger.
