Still Life is a short film which explores the thoughts, emotions and desires of an old bed-bound woman whose life is limited to one room in her terraced house in Belfast. It is a room of photographs, mementos, memories and regrets.

As the film progresses over the period of one day the woman's 'story' unfolds, revealing a life of abandonment and ever-increasing isolation. For this woman self-sacrifice always took priority over self-fulfilment and change, at this time in her life, can be nothing more than a dream.
