In the colourful and strangely evocative world of The Rainbow's End Ballroom, two twelve year old children, Danny and Kate, waltz their way through a Junior Ballroom Dancing Championship while their two single parents try to continue their secret love affair. But in this strange and quirky atmosphere, full of swirling music, sequins and light, romance blossoms between the children and somewhere between the foxtrot and the tango they discover just what love is.
