On his 30th birthday Chuckie, who has never had a job, decides to attempt to fulfil his dreams of being rich and famous, and with the right amount of cheek and bravado manages to raise one million pounds. His good luck continues, as not only does he start to date an enigmatic woman, but through mad cap business schemes becomes richer than he could possibly imagine.
Jake, a reformed tough guy, works as a bailiff, which he glamorously retitles as a "debt collector". All his attempts at romance result in disaster, whilst his sarcastic humour gets him into trouble. His true nature shines through as he tries to help a young tearaway called Roche.
Meanwhile, the streets of the city are being covered in grafitti for a mysterious group called OTG, who will soon affect the lives of Chuckie and Jake, as well as the future of the country, in a most unusual way.
