This film is a mad irreverent leap through the formative years of the extremely overprotected life of John Patrick Teresa Reilly. As he shares his memories with us and introduces us to his bizarre family, we begin to understand the influence others had on him and how they complicated the journey to manhood of this typical Irish mammy's boy.
