A naked body is found in an old military barracks on the South side of the Northern Ireland border. Part of the barracks is used as a school for boys. The school is run by The Matron and an ex-priest. Benny, 17 years old has adopted the school as his new home.

Suspicion that the dead body may be linked to the school brings the establishment under scrutiny from the powers that be. Benny, The Matron and Manley, the ex-priest, feel threatened during the period that the school is closed for holidays.

The personal and sexual relationships between Benny and the Matron and Manley and the Matron develop as they wait in fear of their lives…
