Dublin Doc Fest returns for it's 4th festival screening on Saturday Nov 12th 2016 in the stunning exhibition space of Teeling Whiskey Distillery, 13 - 17 New Market Square, Dublin 8. Abertoir’s aim is to promote all aspects of the horror genre, creating a festival that is fun, diverse and affordable. While primarily focusing on film, the festival’s venue (a large multi-discipline arts centre) allows it to also host a variety of events including music and theatre. The Damned and Claudio Simonetti’s band Daemonia have all been part of Abertoir’s music events, while the theatre has provided Grand Guignol plays and a performance by actor Doug Bradley. Silent film with live accompaniment, talks, shorts, classics and cult screenings, new films and world premieres, even filmmaking masterclasses by Herschell Gordon Lewis and Gary Sherman have all been on offer to festival-goers.

Foyle Film Festival, a flagship project of the Nerve Centre, is the annual celebration of independent films, acclaimed feature length movies, documentaries and short films. This year the Festival will run from Wednesday, November 16 - Sunday, November 20.

Over the last 28 years the Festival has become renowned for attracting high profile names such as Brendan Gleeson, Ray Winstone, Wim Wenders, Cillian Murphy, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Kenneth Branagh, Roddy Doyle, Jimmy McGovern, Sam Shepherd, Danny Boyle, Paul Greengrass, Frank Cottrell Boyce, Stephen Rea, Julien Temple, Andrea Arnold - to name but a few. This year’s Festival will be no different.

This training programme will focus on Talent Management for Animation and VFX companies. The programme is aimed at companies that are scaling and are dealing with a variety of departmental structures, organizational change, attracting staff, retaining staff, creating career pathways, and developing a culture of training and mentorship. The programme aims to prepare the companies for change and set the ground work in place for the development of internal training academies within each company. We also aim to inform and empower the Senior Management Team to implement an effective Talent Management system.
