One of the largest gatherings for the fantastic and horror genres, Montreal’s Fantastic Festival hosts one of the most important number of north American film buyers every July.
18th July – 25th August 2013 NZIFF Auckland + World Cinema Showcase

The Auckland International Film Festival and Wellington Film Festival are now merged as the New Zealand International Film Festival, and since boast a further 13 city runs. Its main outfit is the Auckland stretch over 3 weeks in July, whilst the remaining film prints will stretch as far across until mid November. In most part a best of fests festival, its programming team is split between Paris and Wellington, and the festival offers the rare opportunity to catch even mainstream foreign/art-house films in a country which sees relatively few released.

The Moore School of Performing Arts (MSPA) is holding their annual summer camps from 29th July – 2nd August 2013 in Skerries for the ages below:
  • Children aged 4 & 5 (Little Rascals Camp) – 10am – 12noon
  • Children aged 6 – 8 (Junior Camp) – 10am – 2pm
  • Children aged 9 – 11 (Intermediate Camp) – 10am – 3pm
  • Children aged 11 – 18 (Boot Camp) – 9.30am – 5.30pm
Our Camps include a mixture of Dance (Musical Theatre, African, Cheer Leading, Jazz & Tango), Singing, Creative Drama, percussion & Modeling.
Our Boot Camp will stage two performances of ‘West Side Story’, in The Mill Bank Theatre, Rush at the end of their week.

In order to be admitted to the MA degree in Drama and Theatre Studies, a candidate must have a Second Class Honours BA (Hons) Degree, or equivalent, along with evidence of an established commitment to the field of Drama and Theatre Studies. Applicants with significant professional-level drama and theatre experience will also be considered. Applicants may be required to attend a workshop and/or interview with representatives of the Board of Drama and Theatre Studies and may be required to pass a qualifying test.

Supporting materials: transcript to date and any relevant documentation of practice.
