MediaCon 2018 Summit Takes Place at the Marker Hotel - November 21-23

The three-day event will be attended by professionals from a wide spectrum of television and digital entertainment, from content creators to broadcasters and distributors.

The summit is designed to promote high-level discussion on the global content industry, as well as facilitating the strategic development of a market and network environment for companies.

A range of leading Irish professionals are featured in the programme, including BAI’s Michael O’Keefe and Ciaran Kissane, Vikings’ Creators Michael Hirst and Morgan O’Sullivan, RTÉ’s Director-General Dee Forbes, Treasure Entertainment’s Rebecca O’Flanagan and actor Amy Huberman to name but a few.

Key events to look out for during the summit include ‘Content Ireland – A Production Gateway to Europe’, which includes a panel of BBC NI’s Head of Content Eddie Doyle, SPI CEO Elaine Geraghty, Screen Ireland CEO James Hickey, Treasure Entertainment’s Rebecca O’Flanagan, Grant Thornton’s Head of Media & Entertainment John Gleeson and RTÉ’s Director of Acquisitions & Co-Productions Dermot Horan.
