On the 9th of October at 10am ODEON will be holding its first ever sponsored 24 hour Cinemathon to raise vital funds for AWARE in Partnership with Entertainment.ie at ODEON Point Square.
Film enthusiasts and supporters of AWARE can enjoy a unique movie experience like never before all whilst raising vital funds for charity.
With only 60 seats available this is a unique cinema opportunity not to be missed. Tickets are €40 and participants receive an online sponsorship page to share with friends and family to help raise much needed funds for AWARE (fee will cover 24 hours of movies, lunch and Dinner and goodie bags including movie merchandise). Movies on the night will include blockbusters:
- Jurassic Park
- Raiders Of The Lost Ark
- When Harry Met Sally
- Scream
- Before Sunrise
- Airplane!
- Groundhog Day
- Almost Famous
- The Ritual
- AND whoever raises the most amount of money gets to pick one movie of their choice to watch during the 24 hours.

Founded in 1985 AWARE is a national organisation whose mission is to undertake and create a society where people affected by stress, depression or biopolar disorder are understood, supported, free from stigma and are encouraged to access therapies.
