DkIT Open Day for BA Film and Television Production this Friday, November 8th

Dundalk Institute of Technology Open Day - Friday, Nov. 9th.
Dundalk Institute of Technology will hold its Open Day this Friday, November 8th from 10am to 3pm at the Dublin Road campus.

This is the perfect opportunity for prospective students interested in the BA Hons in Film and Television Production to meet the industry lecturers and view the world-class facilities and equipment in the PJ Carrolls building.

This course is highly regarded by industry personnel and Screen Skills Ireland, the Irish government agency with responsibility for investing in people and skills development for the screen sectors in Ireland.  DkIT is an Avid Learning Partner and regularly holds workshops and Masterclasses with industry practitioners, such as Hollywood Director, John Moore.

Visitors can explore the 4K TV Studios, 35mm Darkroom, 7.1 Cinema Room, Green Screen Studio, Colour Grading Suite, Editing labs, Recording Studios and so much more. They'll also be able to see the industry-standard equipment that students have access to, such as 4K digital cinema cameras, cinema prime lenses, LED lighting, dolly and tracks, jibs and Steadicam system.
