Pulse College Announce New Music and Entertainment Industry Course

Pulse College have announced a new music and entertainment industry course in conjunction with Gav Duffy. This is a hands-on, practical business course for those who are passionate about working in the music and entertainments industries and are looking to kick-start their careers.

The course aims to share insights into how these industries work in practice, what the different roles and opportunities are, the way record labels work, royalties and rights, licensing music, marketing techniques and of course – where the money is. Students will be studying in an inspirational setting, at the world-renowned facilities at Windmill Lane Recording Studios. And will finish the course with a personal business plan to drive their career forward.

The course is ten weeks in duration (10am-5pm) and has been developed by Pulse College & in conjunction with Gav Duffy.

Gav Duffy has amassed over ten years experience in the London music industry. Experienced in negotiating with management, publishers, record labels and music producers; Gav currently works in Music PR. He has extensive experience in online and radio PR, working in the past with UK companies such as The Secret Garden Party and Hart Media.

Total Cost: €900

Deposit: €200
Balance: €700 (payable on start date of course)
